Driverless Future

A policy roadmap for city leaders

Through the collaboration of Arcadis, HR&A Advisors and Sam Shwartz, “Driverless Future: A Policy Roadmap for City Leaders” severed as a resource for city officials facing complex policy issues related to autonomous vehicles and their potential effects on equity, public transit, parking, land use and real estate development.

A team of stakeholders, engineers, PR managers, writers and designers all came together to create this massive campaign. It took months of research, discussions and collaboration to pool all the years of data and information that went into this effort. Overall this was a huge success and all parties were happy with the outcome and feedback.

The Campaign

A variety of of collateral and public outreach was developed to support the campaign from many angles.

Starting with a 24-page report as the main focus of the campaign, this document took a lot of coordination and collaboration from all three firms. Numerous versions of the copy were written and edited, then a visual layout was drafted. After rounds of revisions and updates to the charts and supporting graphics a beautiful report was finalized.

A landing page was created was to gather contacts through lead generation, additional web pages were created that included a number of videos and contacts, event collateral and email marketing supported the campaign rollout.

Website Pages

Supporting pages with separate links were developed to explain different parts of smart mobility and what is being done with city infrastructure as we prepare for the future.

Lead Generation

By utilizing this tactic Arcadis was able to capture leads as a way of warming up potential customers to their business and gain a deeper understanding of the target audiences interest.

Email Marketing

Various email messaging was sent out to city leaders, media outlets and public figures to gain excitement around an event that was being held in New York City to promote the report.

Mobile

Using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), additional content was delivered using the company's app.

The Arcadis Connect App acted as another media outlet to push content to mobile audiences. This campaign utilized the app by creating a collection of articles, banners, and videos to add to the marketing efforts of Driverless Future.
