The logo
Trudy wanted an identity that displayed people and their spirituality. Most of her readings are one-on-one sessions but during the consultations she often deals with multiple individuals. Those individuals consist of the person, their souls, and past friends and family that may be trying to reach out for help or comfort.
I started with the letter i and modified multiples of the letter to create shapes that resemble human characters. Connecting the arms of each character to create a circle of individuals that represents togetherness of body, mind and spirit. The colors were chosen because of their spiritual meanings.
Violet
This color reminds us of reaching a gateway to our spirit. Therefore, it symbolizes the healing of our mind, body and spirit. Violet is also the symbol of cosmic consciousness, awareness of being, the Universe and spirituality. It is color of of the 7th or crown chakra. You can use this color every time you meditate to open a connection to Spirit.
Green
This color reminds us of nature and the environment. Therefore, green is the symbol of health, youth, renewal and fertility. It is the color of the heart chakra, the 4th chakra. Given that, you can use green in your meditation when you need healing or renewal.
Business Cards
The business cards were custom sized and printed with multiple designs on the back and Trudy’s contact information on the front. Using various parts of the logo characters and an abstract background pattern that matched the color palette, a variety of layouts were created.
Website
Having an online presence is a must and with a limited budget I used a PHP template option that featured a single page layout that I customized to display the information Trudy wanted to explain to her audience. Again, using the logo characters, background images and colors of the business cards a responsive website was created. It featured sections including an intro, bio, services, testimonials, a supplements product for sale and a contact. The navbar would always appear on the top of the page, as the user selected a section to visit the website would slide up or down centering the section in the current browser window.
